Dr. Stephen Nedd

Dr. Stephen A. Nedd has been in private Chiropractic health practice since 1990. In addition to being a licensed Florida Chiropractor, he is certified to practice acupuncture, physiotherapy and venipuncture.

Dr. Nedd has done extensive independent research and has attended dozens of postgraduate seminars on a wide array of holistic approaches, which has allowed him to successfully help many people with very challenging health conditions. He has post-graduate certification in Applied Kinesiology through the International College of Applied Kinesiology, Advanced Proficiency Rating through Activator Methods, Contact Reflex Analysis through Parker College of Chiropractic, and Impairment Rating and the Law as well as Florida Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation Health Care Provider Training through Dr. Stanley Kaplan.

Besides his successful practice in dealing with human health problems, Dr. Nedd also provides spinal manipulation, acupuncture and cold laser therapy for animals, including cats, dogs, and horses at a local Veterinary clinic. Dr. Nedd is also a certified Touch For Health Instructor and an Associate Clinical Instructor for Activator Methods.

Years of practical experience, research and training
Dr. Nedd is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, World Chiropractic Alliance and National Institute of Chiropractic Research. He is also a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, National Health Federation, and National Vaccine Information Center. He has done local charity work for the Salvation Army and Children's Home Society, as well as support for the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights and The Human Rights Group Inc.

He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, in December of 1989 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Biology degree. Before taking his board exam for Florida in May of 1990, Dr. Nedd trained under Ft. Myers chiropractors Dr. Leo Macho, Dr. Charles Dugan, and Dr. John Frey. After receiving his Florida license in July of 1990, Dr. Nedd went into private practice sharing Dr. Dugan's office from August of 1990 until December of 1992, at which time he relocated to his own office in Fort Myers until December of 2007. Just after Christmas of 2007 Dr. Nedd purchased Harris Health Center, and renamed it Nedd Health Center, Inc.
